Abeille Bourbon – details
The Emergency Towing Vessel (ETV) Abeille Bourbon and her sister-ship the ABEILLE LIBERTE, were both built in the Norwegian shipyard of Kleven Marine and designed by the architect Sigmund Borgundvaag.
She was christened in Cherbourg on April 13, 2005 by Jacques de Chateauvieux (BOURBON group) in the presence of Bernadette Chirac, her godmother.
Since 2005, L’ABEILLE BOURBON has been serving the rescue station of Brest.
