The Support and Assistance vessel JASON (formerly APSARA) was built in 2005 at the Keppel shipyard in Singapore. She was originally an AHTS (Anchor Handling Towing Ship) designed to support African oil platforms. Transformed and commissioned by Les ABEILLES in 2009, she replaced the BSHM CARANGUE. She became the BSAA JASON, serving the protection of the Mediterranean coastline until today.
