Assistance to Corelli
The chemical tanker Corelli operated by the German company GEFO Shipping Group had left Aveiro in Portugal on 20 January 2022. She suffered propulsion damage in the Ushant rail and was taken in charge by the ETV Abeille Bourbon for a tow to the port of Brest where she will undergo further tests following her propeller problem.
The 100-metre long vessel, built in 1975 in Japan, is carrying 2,500 tonnes of polyethylene. It was taken in tow on Sunday 23 January 2022. As of Wednesday 24 January, it is safely in the harbour of Brest.
